Rebecca Wallace- Treasurer
Rebecca Wallace has been a member of the Centre Stage family since 1996. At seven years old, she made her debut as Gretel in The Sound of Music, marking the beginning of a lifelong love affair with musical theatre. Over the years, Rebecca has taken on countless roles both onstage and off, gradually finding her passion behind the scenes.
After spending some time living abroad, she returned to the group and soon stepped into the role of Treasurer. She often says that Centre Stage helped shape her into the person she is today, and she remains deeply passionate about keeping community events alive and thriving.
Rebecca would also like to express a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Tait, the extraordinary woman who founded Centre Stage. Mrs. Tait was more than a director—she was a mentor, a guiding light, and an inspiration. She created a space where creativity blossomed freely, and her encouragement played a pivotal role in Rebecca’s decision not only to remain part of the group, but also to become a teacher. Her legacy continues to echo through every note sung, every line spoken, and every person who discovers confidence at Centre Stage.
